Hi Clayton,

We are going to add a URL field in soon - but users can add multiple URLs to their visitor profile already. The visitor profile is about to get very cool too :)

Regarding OpenID and Facebook - you may not use it, but your visitors will. Facebook connect in particular is huge for site visitors.

You can also log in as a JS-Kit user if you prefer or guest as you suggested. It will remember your name on your browser.

Also commentluv supports JS-Kit - you may need to dig around a bit on their site.

Don't hesitate to email support@js-kit.com for hands on assistance - they are quick to respond and happy to help with all your needs.

Cheers,

I tried it out, it looks nice, and I am interested in the community and viral aspects which is why I tried Disqus in the first place but it seems to override features like commentluv and subscribe and the comment form doesn't have url input field.
Also, if you don't use openid, facebook, etc, do you just leave it as guest and enter user name and vice versa if you use one of those services like openid do you still fill in user name?

@Clayton we'd love to help you with commenting with JS-Kit comments.

We sync comments back to your blog so you don't have to worry about comment data ownership, you can remove it any time.

Also, with 600,000 registered sites, our visitor profile brings lots of social and viral benefits with it - including easy login with FB connect, OpenID etc. Also your comments are promoted across our network as people travel around.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,

@Saurabh, I deleted the plugin via FTP and then re-installed through the add new auto feature and when I do a comment and hit submit I get Error page stating email address missing. I tried alternate email addys to no avail and had to deactivate it again. Sorry!

I have released a new version which should work when installed directly from Wordpress. Update and give it a try.

Thanks for the feedback!

@Saurabh, I actually installed it automatic through the install plugins window of the dashboard and after realizing no comments were arriving I tested it myself and found that after hitting "submit" I would get an error page.
I disabled plugins until I found it was this one and then reactivated the others which are CommentLuv, Yet Another Related Posts Plugin, Subscribe2, Subscribe to Comments, and WP Thread Comment just to have the nested reply feature because the theme which says it's compatable with WP2.7 doesn't seem to let me have the new built in nested features.

I like the idea of the Captcha Free Plugin to stop the autospam stuff and the fact that you don't have to type in the extra code to submit comments.

Hi,

I am the author of the Captcha-Free plugin. Can you tell me what problem where you facing so I can fix it if its a bug? Also, did you upload captcha-free.php files directly to your wp-content/plugins and not to a subfolder?

Thanks!
